Roy Terlien is a South African homed in Cape Town. While having 40 years of photographic experience he is most successful producing Wildlife Photography along with various themed Fine Art projects. He achieved 2nd place South African in the WPO awards and exhibited painting at the SA Association of Arts.
Otherwise an IT specialist who started his own national communications company, currently an IT Architect and Data Scientist being paid by a Corporate. Schooled at RBHS, where he was most interested in Physics and Fine Art. Then trained as an Architect at UCT. Owns an 1800ha conservation property in the Succulent Karroo and truly cherishes the living things around us while being most passionate about elephants.
He owns and is qualified to sail an oceangoing expedition Yacht, motorised Ski Boat and small Aircraft, is a qualified diver and training as a Wilderness Field Guide as he intends leading truly wild, mobilecamp photographic excursions in Southern Africa.
