Kath Salier has been taking photos for about four years concentrating mainly on landscapes. She is always on the hunt for locations that are atmospheric and wild, the emotion these dynamic scenes provide is what she hopes to capture. It's not just epic landscapes that catch her eye, she feels that everyday scenes have their own beauty and story which she brings to life with colour, light and texture. Some of her recent work can be described as Fine Art, where the lines of photography and art are blurred and the interpretation of the scene is left to the viewer. In 2014 and 2015 she received a number of Gold Awards in the Better Photography Competition including Photograph of the Year.
