A lifelong fascination with imagery and how it can affect viewers in different ways has led me to create my own art through the medium of photography. I've taken photos for almost 40 years but it is only in the last 5 years that I have really pushed my photographic skills to set my imagination free. 'The road we travel' is my area of interest and a lot of my imagery centres around that theme, so much so that we do now live on the road towing a caravan around the beautiful country of New Zealand which is where I call home. In the last few years I have gained recognition with awards through D-Photo New Zealand Photographer of the Year (runner up Landscape 2014), bronze awards in the Epsom International Pano Awards, runner up for New Zealand in the Sony World Photographer of the Year 2015 plus various other awards. These were important to give me belief in my own abilities and now I really do follow my own path without worrying what others may or may not think.
